Please note that the club will be shut for the Xmas holiday from 18th December to 2nd January inclusive – normally training will resume from 3rd January.

There will be a fun gala open to all Squads (Stormers and above) on Thursday 15th December at Leon Pool from 6:30pm. This is intended to be a fun gala being run by Jan and Ali and under the J&A Rule Set. There will be fun/silly team events and also a few proper events to keep everyone going, swimmers will need to bring drinks/spare towels and an old t-shirt which they can swim in. If you have not yet confirmed your attendance can you please contact Ali Powell to let her know so she can cater for the numbers.

You should have all received an email about our New Open Meet being held on 14th January. Please ensure you return the forms by 17th December, it would be really great to have as many people attend as possible as it will be a good fun event. If you have not yet received your forms or are able to help out then please contact Anne Minihan or Ali Powell

There will be a Judge 1 training course being run at Kidlington on Sunday 29th January. The course is very good fun and you get to learn lots about swimming. It lasts about 2.5 hours on the day and is then followed on by about 12 poolside sessions where you get ‘mentored’ by experienced judges who discuss the rules in detail and point out infringements. The club cannot run Open Meets and Club Champs without officials so we really appreciate it if you can help out in this way. If you are interested in attending can you please contact Anne Minihan.

With the club champs fast approaching we need to ask your assistance in a change of sessions for one night only, this is so that the Learn to swim teachers can make the club champs a special event for their swimmers.

On Monday 14th November we would ask that you help us to accommodate all our squads at Bletchley Leisure Centre for this one evening, it does mean that we need to change the times slightly so please check this out and let me know if you are unsure as to when your swimmer is due to swim.
