Bletchley
Swimmers do well at Abbingdon 7 Swimmers attended an open meet at Abingdon on Saturday the 3rd October 2009 and recorded some amazing swims. For the boys Carl Sartorelli swam in 3 events and recorded personal bests in them all, coming in 5th and two 7th places, Andy Wadsworth swam 4 events gaining places in the top 6 for all the races, well done for the boys. The girls continued with the great results, Yasmin Dos Santos recorded a personal best in one event and a good time in the other one, Yasmin was then joined by Megan Wadsworth, Elizabeth Shirley and Robyn Messenger to gain a commendable 4th place in the girls relay. Robyn Messenger swam 4 individual events, gaining personal bests in all her 4 events, picking up a speeding ticket, silver and bronze medals, sister Katie also gained personal bests in all her events with a 4th and two 6th places. Elizabeth Shirley also gained 3 personal bests in all her 3 individual events with Megan Wadsworth also recording a personal best for her event and two other great swims. |

Steve Parry Swim Clinic January 2008 Swim Milton Keynes Group invited Steve Parry Olympic Bronze medallist to spend a day in Milton Keynes. 27 swimmers from Bletchley Swim club along with swimmers from City of Milton Keynes and Newport Pagnell where Steve offered words of advise and demonstrations on technique. more --> |

Maxwell Autumn Open Meet 2007 Over the weekend of the 29th and 30th September a team of 15 determined Bletchley swimmers took part in Maxwell Swimming Club’s Autumn Open Meet at Aqua Vale in Aylesbury. A massive 45 PB’s were achieved over the weekend with 5 of them from Andy Wadsworth, 8 from Chris Forshaw and 9 from Courtney Dos Santos who gained pbs in all of his races! Courtney also set 8 new club records, along with Chris and Callum Tierney who each broke 3 records. more --> |

Bletchley & District Swim Club L3 End of Season Open Meet 2007 For the 3rd year running Bletchley & District Swim Club hosted another successful and enjoyable Open Meet at the Aqua Vale Leisure Centre on Saturday, 14th July, 2007 with a total of 453 swimmers taking part in 1303 swims. Top Visiting Club went to Maxwell Swimming Club with 612 points, Second place went to Luton Swimming club with 557 points and a close third was Newport Pagnell Swimming Club with 526 points. more --> |
